Uncle Benny Uyetake’s Kanikapila is back in Wailea on October 30th with special guests, rising star Anthony Pfluke, and legendary percussionist Lopaka Colon. Get ready for a Kanikapila jam session like no other sponsored by the Maui Chamber or Commerce and Hawai’i Tourism Authority.
Kanikapila, gathering together to play music, has been a well-loved traditional Hawaiian pastime. It’s these types of impromptu jam sessions that create an exceptionally rare evening on the islands. Maui’s musical treasure, Uncle Benny Uyetake, re-imagines Kanikapila evenings in Wailea with storytelling, and world-class music. Through the Aloha Music Series, Uncle Benny will introduce you to the new sounds from the islands and transport you to old Hawaiʻi as he hosts upcoming artists and Hawaiʻi’s legends. Celebrate Arbor Day with South Maui Gardens Nursery on Friday, November 1st, from 8AM to 4PM. They are giving away 100 native plants in 3.5” pots—free of charge! Native plants are essential for preserving Maui’s ecosystem, helping to conserve water, improve soil, and support local wildlife.
Hurry! It’s one plant per person, and supplies are limited and these won’t last long! Stop by South Maui Gardens Nursery and take home a little piece of paradise!
If any plants are left over, the giveaway will continue on Saturday, November 2nd during the scheduled nursery hours.

AG Presents and Mulligans On The Blue are excited to welcome Brazilian artist Marauak to the Mulligans Music Box for a very special Peter Tosh Tribute show. His last Maui performance was a packed house and filled with positive vibes.
Marauak specializes in Brazilian and reggae music and for the last 12 years he lived in San Diego where his album “Natural” was nominated as the best world music album of 2023 by SDMA.
$15 Early bird tickets are available until 10/18/2024. After that tickets are $20.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Maui’s favorite dance band, The Island Soul Band, is back to rock Mulligans On The Blue from 5-8 pm on Sunday, November 3rd. The Island Soul Band doesn’t mess around, playing hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and up to today. Wailea is the place to be and Mulligans has the scene!

AG Presents is excited to bring the Aloha Music Series to Mulligans On The Blue with Maui’s Ukulele Virtuoso Andrew & Jay Molina on Wednesday, November 6th. For this special evening, Dynamic Singer-Songwriters Tempa and Naor will join Andrew and Jay for an unforgettable evening. Two months ago they performed to rave reviews so this is their Hana Hou show sponsored by the Maui Chamber of Commerce and Hawai’i Tourism Authority.
Before the show, there will be a beginner’s ukulele lesson with Andrew. Andrew has been teaching students of all levels for many years. If you ever wanted to learn how to play ukulele this is a great opportunity! The lesson starts at 4:30pm, and is only $10. This is limited to only 10 people.
