Mulligans On The Blue brings Tavana back to Wailea on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 7 pm – 9 pm. Tavana is a one-man wrecking crew from Honolulu, who uses his feet to lay down a variety of grooves while simultaneously playing guitar, banjo, lap steel, or ukulele and singing deep-soulful, island-inspired rock and blues. He has performed and recorded with Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, Jack Johnson, Henry Kapono, John Cruz, Leon Mobley (Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals), and has been the supporting act for Alabama Shakes, Shakey Graves, Xavier Rudd, Jenny Lewis, Julian Marley and Kaleo to name just a few. He is also a multi – Nā Hōkū Hanohano nominee.

Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents the continuation of the Artist 2 Artist series with host Henry Kapono performing with special guest artists. On Thursday, March 14th Henry’s guest is Kimié Miner. Local artist, Arlie Asiu, will also be featured. Henry Kapono rose to immense popularity with the phenomenon of Cecilio & Kapono (aka C&K) as half of the duo with Cecilio Rodriguez. They helped forge the sound of ‘70s Island music, with laid-back contemporary rock that voiced the feelings of an entire generation in Hawai‛i. Kimié Miner is a native Hawaiian Grammy Nominated Producer, Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist, Music Publisher, and owner of Haku Collective a full-service music, audio, and talent production group. Arlie Asiu is best known for incorporating a variety of music genres into his ukulele playing, everything from jazz to rock, and classical to Hawaiian.
