Popa Chubby & the Colin John Band
Mulligans On The Blue
Mulligans on the Blue is excited to bring you from New York City, legendary rock and Blues-man, Popa Chubby & the Colin John Band featuring Paul Marchetti, Tim Hackbarth and Jocelyn Michelle, and Colin John Greenan. Popa Chubby has been hard rocking the blues in his fierce and soulful way for over 30 years. Throughout a career that dates back to 1994, he has been a force to be reckoned with on the guitar, and his tempestuous, soulful playing has never been more powerful. An imposing figure with a shaven head, tattooed arms, a goatee, and a performance style he describes as “the Stooges meets Buddy Guy, Motörhead meets Muddy Waters, and Jimi Hendrix meets Robert Johnson,” Popa Chubby is an endearing character who is one of the genre’s most popular figures.
Tickets are $20 and available at Aloha.Ticketleap.com/Popa-Chubby. The show is from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Mulligans Music Box. After purchasing your tickets reserve your table here.
