Ron Artis II from Haleiwa, Hawaii, brings his soulful and honest songwriting to Anaina Houʻs Port Pavilion on August 16th, reminding us this summer that we are made of love. Performing all original music that has energized audiences worldwide, Ron will feature his power trio, which includes Jarod Manis on drums and Ernie Ecraela on bass. This tour will showcase music from his latest album, “We Are Not Machines,” which is a reminder that if we can all remember that we are made of love, the world will be forever changed.

“We Are Not Machines” is an album lauded for its exploration of the human experience, blending deep storytelling with heartfelt emotion. It’s been described as a “good reflective album” that navigates life’s complexities, encompassing themes of loss, joy, love, pain, and forgiveness. The album breaks genre boundaries, drawing on influences from blues, gospel, rock, and R&B, creating a unique sound. It received Grammy consideration, with John Oates of Hall & Oates praising its profound exploration of human emotion.
