AG Presents, Maui Brewing Company, and Casanova Makawao are excited to welcome Danyel Alana and Natalie Nicole to the Aloha Music Series, Sundays in the Country, at Casanova’s in beautiful Makawao Town on February 15th.
Danyel Alana has a musical style that reflects her ethnic roots, growing up on the beaches of Los Angeles and Hawai’i. Weaving conscious lyrics with her soulful vocals she blends elements of funk, rock, blues, reggae, hip hop, R&B, soul, jazz, Hawaiian, pop, and country. Whether she’s solo on an acoustic or electric guitar her unbridled style and powerful vocals fuel the passion in her versatile, dynamic, and high-energy performances. Danyel never ceases to deliver the conscious message of love, unity and introspection through her original and cover material.

Danyel Alana’s music career has spanned over 3 decades. In 1992 she joined forces with Rob London, forming the funk rock reggae band, Unshakable Race. Gaining a large regional following and acclaim in the Pacific Northwest and California, Unshakable Race opened for many major acts across the US and voted “Northwest Best World Beat Band’ by The Northwest Music News. Unshakable Race released 3 CD’s Right On! Serial Survivors & Stop, Look & Listen had songs that topped the Mp3 charts for that time.
Danyel has opened for, recorded, and performed with many notable artists across Hawaii, the mainland US, Canada, and Japan. ABOUT NATALIE NICOLE ROBLES
Natalie is a soul queen with a passionate stage presence. Her unique, fresh renditions of rock, pop, soul, and R&B are high-energy and get your feet moving. “I was exposed to a diverse range of music at a very young age and carried that love for music during my travels,” said Natalie. She was born into a large family in California’s Bay Area. In 1998, she moved to Seattle with her family. Fourteen years later, she found her home on Maui. “I packed my beloved guitar and a suitcase, not knowing what this small island had in store for me, but I was excited to go on another adventure.”
