Join Mulligans On The Blue for an evening of magic with Brenton Keith & His Bag O’Tricks on Thursday, December 11th! Brenton’s show is an evening of magic and shenanigans for all ages. Pilar, a recent guest, had this to say on Google, “I went last Thursday and saw the magic show, it was a lot of fun. Join Executive Director Tamara Sherrill and Plant Collections Manager Emmely Cabacungan in this annual Maui Nui Botanical Gardens tradition. The class includes materials for both. Living wreaths will grow outdoors in low light for several months if watered regularly, and cut foliage wreaths need no further care. This popular class is repeated twice in one day.

Mulligans On The Blue is thrilled to welcome Jamie Lawrence back to the Mulligans Music Box stage on Saturday, December 13th, from 6-8pm. Jamie Lawrence was born on Maui and has been entertaining the island for over 40 years with his magical voice and beautiful guitar playing. Dinner seating begins at 5pm, and music starts at 6pm. Table reservations are recommended!

Jamie has recorded several albums and performed with many of Hawaii’s great entertainers, including his good friend Kealiʻi Reichel, with whom he performed at the Maui Lu in the 1980s. Kealiʻi went on to record some of Hawaiiʻs greatest albums, each of which Jamie was honored to participate in. Aside from Jamie’s incredible music, he is also a talented helicopter pilot.

SUPPORT LAHAINA!

Mo’o and Koholā by Lori Abreu

Lori Abreu, born and raised on Maui, is passionate about serving the children and families of her island home. It was the outpouring of aloha and compassion she witnessed working alongside volunteers in our Maui community in the wake of the devastating wildfires that motivated her to realize her long-time dream of publishing her first children’s book, Mo`o and Koholā, which was introduced to our Maui community in January 2024. The proceeds from the sales of this story are donated to the ongoing rebuild of Lahaina. To date, Lori has made donations supporting the Lahaina community and its children through The Hawaii Community Foundation and Lahaina schools. Her complete project is full of Lahaina and local flavor. Its pages highlight Lahaina Harbor, Front Street, Lahainaʻs Banyan Tree, and more. Mo`o and Koholā comes with three original songs and a website of resources for families and teachers. Lori is extremely thankful to her enthusiastic, talented team which helped bring her project to life. She feels blessed to have worked with Nicki Barsamian who beautifully illustrated her story and helped guide her through the self-publication process.
