Mulligans On The Blue brings back the Aloha Music Series with Maui’s Ukulele Virtuoso Andrew & Jay Molina on Wednesday, November 6th. For this special evening, Dynamic Singer-Songwriters Tempa and Naor will join Andrew and Jay for an unforgettable evening. Two months ago they performed to rave reviews so this is their Hana Hou show sponsored by the Maui Chamber of Commerce and Hawai’i Tourism Authority.

Before the show, there will be a beginner’s ukulele lesson with Andrew. Andrew has been teaching students of all levels for many years. If you ever wanted to learn how to play ukulele this is a great opportunity! The lesson starts at 4:30pm, and is only $10. This is limited to only 10 people.

Brenton Keith & His Bag O’Tricks is back at Mulligans On The Blue this week for Maui’s Magic Show! Brenton has entertained audiences on Maui for over 20 years and brings high-energy mischief with his magic. It’s a good time for all ages! A recent OpenTable review says, “Came here tonight to see a Magic Show featuring Brenton Keith and His Bag of Tricks. Although it’s off the beaten path, it’s a very good experience. Mulligans On The Blue welcomes the House Shakers with special guest and guitar phenom Keni Blue on Friday, November 8th to the Mulligans Music Box. This will be a Rock-n-Roll Dance Party so grab tickets and dance the night away!

The Houseshakers features Mark Johnstone on Keys, Lenny Castellanos on bass, Kenny Geiser on guitar, Austin Ford on drums, and some explosive leads from Keni Blue.
The House Shakers are known for being Mick Fleetwoodʻs backing band and have shared the stage with everyone from Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) to Brian Johnson (AC/DC)!! And Keni Blue just recently played with Billy Cox, Jimi Hendrixʻs bass player.

Hula O Nā Keiki (Nov. 8 & 9th) is held at OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort. This three-day event offers children ages 6 to 17 the opportunity to perform both traditional (kahiko) and contemporary (‘auana) hula in front of an engaged audience. The intent is to provide an avenue through which participants may express their new understanding of the Hawaiian language and culture through the art of hula, oli (chant), and mele (song). There will also be a Hawaiian Arts Market on each day featuring offerings from local artisans, cultural exhibits & workshops.

Competitors will come together at Paia Mantokuji Soto Zen Mission to hang out with fellow cubers, compete for the speediest solves, and meet new cubing friends. Spectators are welcome.

Will justice be served in this hilarious fairy-tale courtroom play packed with characters we all know and love? Goldilocks is the defendant, on trial for breaking and entering. The plaintiffs are — you guessed it — the three bears. As their lawyers Henny Penny and Thumbelina go toe-to-toe hoping to prove their respective clients’ cases, other fairy tale characters are called to testify as witnesses, including Hansel and Gretel, Jack and Cow, and Granny. Even the Big Bad Wolf takes the stand, but can any of these witnesses be trusted themselves? Is Goldilocks guilty or innocent?

Mo’o and Koholā by Lori Abreu

Mo`o and Koholā: A Childrenʻs Book full of Aloha and Purpose!
Lori Abreu, born and raised on Maui, is passionate about serving the children and families of her island home. It was the outpouring of aloha and compassion she witnessed working alongside volunteers in our Maui community in the wake of the devastating wildfires that motivated her to realize her long-time dream of publishing her first children’s book, Mo`o and Koholā, which was introduced to our Maui community in January 2024. The proceeds from the sales of this story are donated to the ongoing rebuild of Lahaina. To date, Lori has made donations supporting the Lahaina community and its children through The Hawaii Community Foundation and Lahaina schools. Her complete project is full of Lahaina and local flavor. Its pages highlight Lahaina Harbor, Front Street, Lahainaʻs Banyan Tree, and more. Mo`o and Koholā comes with three original songs and a website of resources for families and teachers. Lori is extremely thankful to her enthusiastic, talented team which helped bring her project to life. She feels blessed to have worked with Nicki Barsamian who beautifully illustrated her story and helped guide her through the self-publication process. The musicality of Kala`e Camarillo who performed her songs and made them so special was surely a treat for the music lover she is!
