The Island Soul Band
Mulligans On The Blue

Island Soul Band
Maui’s favorite dance band, The Island Soul Band, is back to rock Mulligans On The Blue from 5-8 pm on Sunday, October 27th. The Island Soul Band doesn’t mess around, playing hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and up to today. Wailea is the place to be and Mulligans has the scene!

The latest OpenTable reviewer said, “We came for the music, but will be back for the food! We started with the Lime in the Coconut cocktail, very nice. Then we both had the pork ribs, which came with steak fries and coleslaw, which was more than enough for each of us. Six ribs with a tasty, tangy sauce, perfectly done. No room for dessert. Good and attentive wait staff, though I had to track him down to pay our bill. The band – Island Soul – was great! Played for three hours including a break. Very talented musicians, plus the female singer. You know every song they played, and the dance floor was jumping! We will be back!” Reviewed 10/14/2024 • Dined 10/13/2024

There is a $5 cover and reservations are highly recommended. Reserve your table here.

SUPPORT LAHAINA!

Mo’o and Koholā by Lori Abreu

Mo`o and Koholā: A Childrenʻs Book full of Aloha and Purpose!
Lori Abreu, born and raised on Maui, is passionate about serving the children and families of her island home. It was the outpouring of aloha and compassion she witnessed working alongside volunteers in our Maui community in the wake of the devastating wildfires that motivated her to realize her long-time dream of publishing her first children’s book, Mo`o and Koholā, which was introduced to our Maui community in January 2024. The proceeds from the sales of this story are donated to the ongoing rebuild of Lahaina. To date, Lori has made donations supporting the Lahaina community and its children through The Hawaii Community Foundation and Lahaina schools. Her complete project is full of Lahaina and local flavor. Its pages highlight Lahaina Harbor, Front Street, Lahainaʻs Banyan Tree, and more. Mo`o and Koholā comes with three original songs and a website of resources for families and teachers. Lori is extremely thankful to her enthusiastic, talented team which helped bring her project to life. She feels blessed to have worked with Nicki Barsamian who beautifully illustrated her story and helped guide her through the self-publication process. The musicality of Kala`e Camarillo who performed her songs and made them so special was surely a treat for the music lover she is! Visit Loriʻs website at www.kumulori.com for more information on this project and a purchasing link.
